Michael Ilan (1933-2018)
Mr. Ilan, an industrialist, entrepreneur and visionary, founded the Isralift Group in his mid-twenties and headed the company for over 50 years, leading it to become one of the top elevator companies in Israel, with additional activities around the globe. After selling the Isralift Group to Kone in 2012, Mr. Ilan focused on promoting Israeli-based innovation. Through MILMI, Mr. Ilan made significant investments in nearly 20 startups in various fields, endeavoring to support excellent people in Israel engaged in valuable world-wide disruption.
Liora Ettinger obtained a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration (Highest Honors) from Bar-Ilan University, and an MBA with a specialization in Finance and Accounting from Tel Aviv University. Since 2003, she has been involved in financial management in leading Israeli companies and foreign markets, specializing in corporate finance, deal structuring, public offerings, M&A and business analysis. Mrs. Ettinger has previously held positions in Africa Israel Investments Ltd, a public company traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE: AFIL), Redstone Real Estate Investments, a private real estate development company operating in CEE and CIS regions, Giza Singer Even, a large Israeli financial advisory and investment banking firm, and Mizrahi Bank.
Mrs. Ettinger joined MILMI in 2014 and is responsible for the investment management and general operations of the Company.
Arrow Pride (born Eran Ilan) grew up in Israel, immigrated to Canada and obtained a B.Sc. (Honors) in physics from the University of Calgary, Alberta. After graduate studies in physics, he immigrated to the US, where he taught college physics and mathematics. Mr. Ilan worked for a decade in software development, eventually becoming the Principal Software Architect of Corbis Corporation. He then transitioned to self-employment as a stock analyst and investor, and he currently resides near Seattle, Washington.
As the Company’s Chief Technology Advisor, Mr. Ilan is involved in technological oversight and operational development of the portfolio companies, as well as in MILMI’s strategic vision.
Yossi Bercovich obtained a B.A. in History and Communications, and an LL.B and an M.A. (Honors) in Management and Communications from Tel Aviv University. He joined MILMI in 1999, and has since participated in major strategic and decisions, providing a point of view based on extensive commercial and communication experience acquired in Israel and abroad.
As part of his role as the Company’s VP of Business Development, Mr. Bercovich is in charge of the operational activities of Anglolift in the UK and the worldwide activities of 2Park. He has also served as CEO for Vortex Energy LTD since 2012.
